History

ricky & jeannie We started the All the Way House around 1997. We started in our house, taking people in. We wrote the book, Miracle at Large, in 1998. After the book was published, people with drug addictions began to show up at the door. I began to accept them in at that time. After about two years, my wife, Jeannie, said that we had to find another place for them. She said, “It’s either me or the men!” At that time, we owned a trailer park. We started to place the men in the trailer park for a few years. We then moved to Baker, LA, and bought the Pizza Hut building, which was a banquet hall at the time. We turned the building into housing for approximately 40 men. During this time, we purchased a mobile home for the women’s facility. As the capacity grew, we opened up an area that is approximately 24,000 sq. ft. at the Main Campus of Miracle Place Church, located at 2080 Main Street in Baker. That was our last growth.
